The Light of Jesus Family is one big family. What makes us big is God’s big love for us, our big love for God and for one another. God’s love for us and our love for Him and for one another is actually the Light which we now share to as many persons as we can reach. Want to know more about us?

The ministry of Bo Sanchez started in 1980, when Bo, then 14 years old, led the Light of Jesus prayer meeting. The following year, 30 regular attendees of the prayer meetings formed the Core Family of what is now known as the Light of Jesus Community. Today, the Light of Jesus Family has thousands of members all over the world.

Now 46 years old, Bo Sanchez is the author of thirty-one bestselling books and publisher of eight magazines. Bo also has a weekly television show on IBC 13 (Sundays, 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.), and on cable channels ANC (Sundays, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.; Mondays, 12:30 to 1:00 a.m). , TV Maria (Mondays, 5 a.m., 11 a.m., 7 p.m., 11:30 p.m., Sundays, 12 m.n.) and M&L (Sundays, 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.). He also has a daily Radio program on Radio Veritas from Monday to Saturday, 5 a.m. and Sunday, 8 a.m., as well as an online inspirational show (www.preacherinbluejeans.com) that he shares with other preachers from the Light of Jesus.

Spoken in 14 countries, including 38 cities in North America.

Bo is an international speaker, having travelled extensively around the world. So far, he has spoken in 14 countries, including 38 cities in North America.

He founded many organizations, such as Anawim, a home for the abandoned elderly and the poorest of the poor, Shepherd’s Voice Publication, a media group that publishes the widest read inspirational literature in the country, and Shepherd’s Voice Radio & Television Foundation, Inc., an all-media organization that produces world-class inspirational and spiritually-enriching programs. He also founded the Light of Jesus Pastoral Care Center.

In 2007, he received the Serviam Award given by the Catholic Mass Media Awards for outstanding lay service to God.

Bo was named one of The Outstanding Young Men or TOYM for 2006. In 2007, he received the Serviam Award given by the Catholic Mass Media Awards for outstanding lay service to God.

Privately, Bo is also a micro-entrepreneur. He engages in small business, investments and real estate not only for his family’s needs and for his various projects, but also from his firm belief that one of the most important solutions to his country’s economic problems is to raise up more micro-entrepreneurs among his countrymen. He frequently teaches and writes about financial literacy, believing that our poverty is hugely a product of people’s low financial I.Q. on subjects such as debt-management, saving, investing, and business.

In another endeavor he’s very passionate about, Bo started the Catholic Filipino Academy to help parents who want to homeschool and teach their children at home.

But above all these, Bo believes that his first call is to be a loving husband to his wife Marowe and a devoted father to his sons Benedict and Francis. They live in Manila, Philippines.
